WHAT ARE YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AS A COPYWRITER?
I have been studying with American Writers & Artists Inc. (AWAI) since 2008. AWAI has provided me with a solid, tested, and proven training on how to write persuasively. I have studied Web Copywriting (yes, it is different from traditional writing), writing for Business-to-Business (B2B) companies, case studies, white papers and pay-per-click ads (PPC- like the ones you see on the right side of the Google page).
DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE IN MY FIELD?
Yes, I do. I have 30 years’ experience in the Environmental, Safety & Health (ES&H) field in the military, private and government sectors. I have a Master’s Degree in Industrial Safety Management. In fact, while writing numerous research papers I discovered I really enjoyed research and writing. During my career, I have worked as a consultant, worn a lot of Personal Protective Equipment, and read and sat through numerous safety trainings; just the companies I write for.

DO YOU OFFER CONSULTING SERVICES?
As a Certified Safety Professional, I can certainly offer ES&H consultation. My forte, however, is with writing solid copy that will increase your bottom line, such as blogs or e-mails. I can also advise you on what your website needs to better communicate with your customers.
YOUR FEE SCHEDULE LISTS A PRICE FOR A ‘SITE AUDIT.' WHAT’S THAT?
A site audit is where I study a company’s website and review how the content reads, how it guides people through the sales process, how clear it is, and how it drives action. (Are people willing to give you their e-mail address or buy your products?) I look at how the content is positioned to attract readers in the search engines, to beat out my clients’ competition. Finally, the audit includes my professional recommendations for fixing the content areas that aren’t performing well.
SPEAKING OF PRICES, WHAT DOES IT COST TO HIRE YOU FOR A PROJECT?
The investment schedule is located on my “Schedule of Estimated Investment” page. What you will see there are price ranges for your project, to begin the conversation. Once we discuss your specific project, I can give you a firm quote.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE YOU TO WRITE MY COPY?
This is a great question and not an easy one to answer. As a rule, it takes the same amount of time to research as it does to complete the first draft. So, one week of research equals one week of writing. Of course, this all depends on the size of the project. I can give you a better estimate once we start talking about your project.
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE WANT YOU TO REVISE THE COPY?
I really appreciate my clients’ input. When it comes right down to it, this is your product; you want to get it right and so do I. I include two revisions within scope with every project. I understand the cold feet; a new campaign launch can be a little scary. My goal is to help you make the most out of your marketing efforts.
